SF2 ball valves are shut-off valves: the rotation of the spherical shutter allows or prevents flow.
SF2's two-piece ball valves are available with F/F ISO 7-1 gas threaded connections and are made entirely of AISI 316 stainless steel. The seals are made of PTFE with fiberglass reinforcement that increases their mechanical performance.
On request, the ATEX SF2 "Q" version is available, which can also be used in environments with an explosive atmosphere according to the 2014/34/EU ATEX standard. We recommend that you always check that the valve and the characteristics of the environment in which it will be used are compatible.
Why choose SF2 ball valves
SF2 ball valves have small dimensions. They guarantee very low pressure drops because they are total passage valves, so the passage section of the valve is the same size as that of the pipe. They are characterized by a quick drive and are suitable for high frequency drives. They are available in the 1/4" – 4" size range, all equipped with a stainless steel manual lever complete with lockable locking device.
